Dr. Sejal Shah

Dr. Sejal Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine and treats adults of all ages, in all aspects of primary care. Dr. Shah is highly rated, thorough, and a compassionate primary care physician.
After graduating from the George Washington University Medical School in Washington, D.C. in 2001, she continued her training through an Internal Medicine residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in downtown New York City. She subsequently stayed on to complete a Primary Care Chief Resident year at Saint Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr. Shah began her career at a large Manhattan private practice with inpatient privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital.  She and her husband then moved to Boston where she was an Internist at an academic primary care practice in the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital. Her responsibilities included outpatient primary care, inpatient care of hospitalized patients, as well as precepting both Mass General Hospital internal medicine residents and Harvard Medical School students.
After Boston, Dr. Shah and her husband moved to New Jersey to raise their family.  Dr. Shah joined Franklin Medical Care in 2011 and has since continued to develop long term relationships with her patients and their families.  She enjoys the challenge and privilege of working with patients to meet their healthy lifestyle goals through both preventative care and long term management of chronic conditions.
